Worth-Medical Center of McKinney - McKinneyJob: Allied HealthSchedule: Per Diem/PRN Description The CT - MRI Technical Aide is responsible for transporting patients to and from the imaging departments of CT and MRI. Job duties and responsibilities include: Keeps utility rooms organized and clean. Disinfecting of stretchers, IV poles and other equipment in between patients. Film copying for distribution out of the hospital. Paperwork processing, answering phones, stocking supplies, greeting outpatients and dressing them appropriately for procedures. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Qualifications Job qualifications include: High school diploma or GED required Current BLS certification EMT/Paramedic certification preferred Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred Experience in venipuncture preferred Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required Able to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
