The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking PAs to collaborate with its surgeons in a growing state of the art academic practice. Our practice consists of 8 surgeons. Our physicians are recognized as experts in all areas of the field including: robotic cardiac surgery, minimally invasive thoracic surgery, and minimally invasive valve surgery practicing at Froedtert Hospital and other local/regional hospitals. Responsibilities include:-First assisting in the operating room -Endoscopic vein harvesting/radial harvesting-Clinical management of patients in the inpatient and outpatient setting PAs are integrated into the Division through a comprehensive orientation program, and education is ongoing due to the presence of a strong learning environment. The PA will participate in call hours on a rotating basis. Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited PA program and have NCCPA certification (or be eligible for certification), WI PA license (or eligible), ACLS and CPR certification.
