Be one of the people who make it possible. Responsibilities You will provide social services for acute inpatient psychiatry units. Responsibilities include psychiatric assessments, psychosocial evaluations, brief treatment and discharge planning for patients with wide range of psychopathology. Demonstrate ability to transition between different units and programs, and work in a self-directed fashion. Demonstrate ability to clearly communicate relevant information during hand-offs of care after per-diem assignments. NYS LMSW or LCSW license and a minimum of one year experience on an inpatient psychiatric unit required.
