Orthopedic Specialists of Seattle, a division of Proliance Surgeons, is seeking a PA-C to join our current team of 6 orthopedic surgeons and 3 PA-Cs. Our outpatient facility also includes MRI, Physical Therapy and ASC.

This involves various settings including the Operating Room, ER, clinic and hospital wards. The primary goal is to provide excellent orthopedic care under the supervision of the Orthopaedic Specialists of Seattle physicians, while working within an approved scope of practice. * First Assist: this includes greeting/ identifying patient & completing paperwork. Assisting in moving & positioning patients/organizing x-rays/writing orders.* Familiarization with specific surgical procedures prior to their performance.* Hospital Rounds: this includes/patient care/charting & paperwork/interaction with staff, consultants, and discharge planners.* Emergency Room: evaluation and treatment of patients* Clinic: As scheduled* Call: Every 4th weekend and every 4th weeknight or one entire week.Job Specifications:• Completion of accredited Physicians Assistant Program.• Washington State Physician Assistant License, Current• Current CPR CertificationWork Environment:The work environment and physical demand described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Requires working under stressful conditions and working irregular hours.Compensation:- Annual Salary- Paid Medical, Life and Long Term Disability Insurance.- Malpractice Insurance- WA State Licensure and DEA Registration- 401k eligibility after 12 months employment, (bi-annual enrollment)- Continuing Education- 3 paid days per year, up to $1500 reimbursement- Paid Personal Leave (Includes sick leave) 3.2 - weeks per year.- Performance evaluations every 3 months x 1 year, then every 6 months.Probationary Period: A probationary period will exist for the first 6 months of employment. Following a 6-month performance evaluation and upon condition of continued employment a salary review will occur.
