ANCHORAGE ALASKA – FULL TIME ORTHOPEDIC PA. Busy eight surgeon practice offering all musculoskeletal subspecialties.
Objective: Provide comprehensive patient services customary for a licensed physician assistant with orthopaedic experience within individual level of skill and training. Work as the dedicated PA for a single orthopaedic surgeon.Requirements: NCCPA certified with minimum one year orthopedic experience or post graduate orthopedic residency. Current DEA and PIN with active license in any state. Three professional references. Scope of Duties: Diagnostic and follow up clinic care and surgical assists. Limited hospital rounds and call. One evening (5 to 8p) and one Saturday (noon to 6p) walk-in clinic every six weeks in rotation with five other PAs. Complete at least 20 hours CME every calendar year as per Alaska requirements.
