Responsibilities 1. Provides direct patient care in the field per Texas Department of Health regulation and certification or license. 2. Maintenance of unit and all EMS equipment. 3. Operates emergency vehicle following applicable safety guidelines. 4. Operates 2-way radio and communicates patient condition to primary facility. 5. Participates in community education and training. 6. Attends staff and continuing education meetings. Minimum Qualifications Six (6) months of related experience is preferred. Paramedic License from the State of Texas is required. Current Texas Drivers License is required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are preferred.
