Responsibilities 1. Orients to physician practice/patient population, including attending and participating in multidisciplinary rounds. 2. Develops collaborative practice agreement in conjunction with supervising physician. 3. Identifies and develops protocols and or guidelines necessary for practice in conjunction with supervising physician. 4. Participates in the orientation and education of staff and students. 5. Maintains clinical competencies by assuming responsibilities for acquiring knowledge and experiences to meet learning needs with guidance. 6. Participates in continuing medical education to include specialty and sub-specialty meetings, clubs, boards and conferences. 7. Assists in the collection of data for research projects. Minimum Qualifications Two years of specialty experience relevant to position preferred. Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant (PA) from the State of Texas is required. Current certification in Advanced Cardiopulmonary Life Support is required. Applicant must complete a Medical Staff application and participate in the Medical Staff Credentialing Process as outlined through the SETON Medical Staff Bylaws.
