We now seek a:ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST(PRN: Rotating - Every Other Sat. & Sun. + 1 week/month On-Call)RESPONSIBILITIES:Operates all ultrasound equipment located in the main Radiology Department for the purpose of performing diagnostic exams according to physician orders. Reviews exposed radiographs for positioning, exposure and completeness. Recognize changes in patients conditions, reads charts, physician orders, identifies contrast media reactions. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have attended an approved school for Diagnostic Ultrasound or have the equivalent experience which is accepted for registration with the R.D.M.S. Must be registered. OB/GYN and Abdomen preferred. Current CPR certification required. Able to operate and interpret patient monitor devices and IV pumps.
