Providence Hospital and Heart Institute of Columbia, South Carolina is seeking full-time Physician Assistant for its large cardiovascular surgery program. The program currently has 5 CV surgeons/ 3 physician assistants and performs approximately 800 hearts annually. Responsibilities include admission history and physicals, pre and post-operative patient management, endoscopic saphenous vein harvesting, discharge summaries, pre-op assessments. Call every 4th weekend and one night weekly. Must be a graduate of accredited PA program and NCCPA certified. Current SC PA License required and 2 years CV Surgery experience preferred but will consider new graduate.
