Supervises on a daily basis the operations of the technical employees in the lab and assists in the development of new technology. Performs mutation analysis using conventional non-radioactive, radioactive, and fluorescence-based techniques.REQUIREMENTS: BS/BA in medical technology or clinical lab science, biology, chemistry or molecular diagnostics. 2+years experience in the DMG Lab as a technologist or 5+years in molecular biology or genetics lab. Must have the NY State clinical lab technologist license & the National certification agency for Medical Lab Personnel.
