Establishes procedures for point-of-care testing for hospital units and clinics following the guidelines of St. Josephs Hospital & Medical Center, the Clinical Laboratory, the College of American Pathologists and JCAHO. Monitors quality control and test results. Maintains supplies, equipment and records.Educational Requirements:A.A. degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program orB.S. degree in Medical Technology (preferred)Experience Requirements: MLT 5 years experience in clinical laboratory orMT 2 years experience in clinical laboratory (preferred)License/Registration/Certification:ASCP or NCA MLT or MT Certification
