POSITION REQUIREMENTS Join us at St. Joseph�s Hospital and Medical Center as we are seeking Full-time Speech Language Pathologists in the Acute Care Hospital to evaluate patients with complex neurological, surgical, trauma/orthopedic, medical and cardiopulmonary diagnoses. We administer treatment and coordinate therapy services to a wide variety of patients within a Level I Trauma Center. These positions demonstrate the clinical competence and knowledge necessary to provide treatment that is appropriate to the age and diagnosis of the population served (adult � geriatric).Our creative and highly skilled therapists are an integral team and provide cutting edge care. POSITION REQUIREMENTS St. Joseph�s Hospital has a Full Time Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist position in a busy, comprehensive outpatient clinic with multiple CARF-Accredited Programs that is expanding. Duties include evaluation and treatment of adolescents and adults with neurological diagnoses, in a team-driven environment that focuses on community re-entry skills for home, school, and work. Patients are scheduled in one-hour sessions to allow the clinician to provide intensive treatment. Experience in cognitive re-training, dysphagia, language re-training, and associated treatments is required for this position, and outpatient level experience is preferred. REQUIREMENTS: -Must be licensed in Arizona as a Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competency. -Experience with outpatient neurological cases is preferred. -CPR/BLS

This position will be a part of an integral team providing outstanding care to complex neurological diagnoses. These positions demonstrate the clinical competence and knowledge necessary to provide treatment and services appropriate to the age and diagnosis of the population served. The highly skilled Speech/Language Pathologists work together with Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists to form an integral team and provide outstanding patient care. We practice in a healthcare setting which encourages continued growth and development through a variety of educational opportunities. The Candidate must have a license as a Speech/Language Pathologist in the state of Arizona and hold a certificate for CPR.
