We are proud to partner with Intel and currently have openings for Full-time and Part-time Health Coaches for our employee health center located in the Portland, OR area (Hillsboro). The health center is open Monday-Friday and hours will vary based on position. Responsibilities include:-Providing direct or indirect patient assistance in setting goals and objectives to meet health and wellness needs through one on one, and/or group interactions or sessions. -Creating clinical documentation using electronic systems (i.e., EMR, charting etc.) for each interaction. -Researches, develops, coordinates, and conducts wellness programs in areas such as nutrition, stress management, weight management, smoking cessation and others. -Collaborates with health center staff to coordinate and promote health and wellness programs. -Works closely with third party health and wellness vendors. -Promotes health education through ongoing participation in client worksite meetings and projects, task forces, client-directed outreach, and committees. -Assesses and maintains reports, evaluates the health education programs & conducts ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of the programs. -Participate in ongoing communication with the local clinic within a large contract. -Assist with the collection of biometric data such as height, weight, blood pressure and demographic data consent forms and cholesterol testing. M/F/D/V Requirements -Bachelors degree in health education, health science, food nutrition, dietetics, fitness or related field (additional state-specific requirements may be necessary in some states) -Minimum 1 year experience + Masters in a Health related discipline OR equivalent experience working with patients in a health setting as a RN, dietician or fitness professional. -Current certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS), CPR, First Aid certification required -Travel for training and meetings may occasionally be required. More extensive travel may be required for some positions and may include multiple site responsibilities. -CHES (Certified Health Education Specialist) certification preferred
