Laboratory TechnologistEducation/ Experience• Associates degree and certified in clinical laboratory sciences by a nationally recognized certifying agency; or• Military Laboratory Training a) Phase I and II (Air Force) or Basic and Advanced (Army) and b) Minimum of two years of clinical laboratory experience or minimum of sixty semester hours college credit in the appropriate biological/medical science from an accredited college or University; or• High School diploma and successful completion of a structured clinical program and certified as a clinical laboratory assistant (CLA) by a recognized certifying agency and ten years experience in more than one area of the clinical laboratory; or• Medical Technologist Student within their last 6 months of graduation from an accredited clinical training program. Compensation• (FT) $12-$21 per hour DOE/Excellent compensation & benefit package/ shift & weekend differentialsMedical TechnologistEducation/ Experience• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or an appropriate biological/chemical/medical science degree from an accredited college or university and successful completion of a structures clinical program (CAHEA approved). • Certified in clinical laboratory experience in the specific department worked and demonstrated ability to supervise OR completion of an accredited clinical program and certification prior to 1963 and one year of current clinical laboratory experience in the specific department. (Certification after obtaining degree is preferred.) Certification in clinical laboratory science by a recognized certifying agency. Licensure• Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or National Certification Agency (NCA) is required. Compensation• (FT) $16-$27 per hour DOE/ Excellent compensation & benefit package/shift & weekend differentials• (PRN) $19-$ 29 per hour DOE/shift and weekend differentials
