The Radiation Oncology division of Arizona Oncology is the premier Radiation Practice in Southern Arizona. Services are provided through five community cancer centers in Southern Arizona. Currently we are seeking a Chief Radiation Therapist to coordinate radiation services in all five centers and manage a technical staff consisting of 4 Lead Radiation Therapists and 16 Staff Radiation Therapists. Centers are equipped with Varian Linear Accelerators with MLC, Novalis TX with OBI, Phillips CT Simulators, Treatment Planning Systems include CMS XIO, Eclipse, and I-Pan for SRS and IMPAC Record & Verify System. Treatments in all centers is approximately 140-172 per day. Treatment modalities include SRS and SBRT, IMRT, IGRT, HDR, LDR., Mammosite, Prostate Implants, and Brachytherapy,To qualify, you must be a graduate of an accredited program in radiation therapy and have at least 5 years of experience in the field and a minimum of 2 years of supervisory/management experience preferably with multiple sites. Bachelors Degree, ARRT, and state licensure are required. Tucson is located in Pima County, in southern Arizona and lies in the beautiful Sonoran Desert valley surrounded by 4 mountain ranges.
