An Urgent Care in Parker, CO is currently looking to hire a Certified X-Ray Technician to join their team. Must be able to work flexible hours Monday through Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (schedule to be determined)
Determine patients x-ray needs by reading requests or instructions from physician and explain to patient. Position patient on examining table, set up and adjust equipment to view specific body area as requested by physician. Perform procedures using x-ray equipment under supervision of physician. Use beam-restrictive devices and patient-shielding techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patient and staff. Process exposed radiographs using film processors or computer generated methods. Work in an Urgent Care setting.Required Education/Training: Must be a graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Must have and maintain current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
