Overland Park Regional Medical Center has been serving the healthcare needs of Johnson County and the surrounding counties since December of 1978. The hospital is a licensed 343-bed facility offering acute medical care services to our patients.

The Hyperbaric Technician, under the general supervision of the Hyperbaric Physician and the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager, will assume responsibility for the safe and effective operation of the compression chamber system and supporting components. All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered by the Hyperbaric Physician. The Hyperbaric Technician will also be responsible for performing maintenance activities of the hyperbaric chamber(s) and associated systems and equipment, as directed. In addition, he/she will report to the Center HBO Safety Director with respect to safety issues and/or concerns. Specific training and/or experience in compression chamber operations, including a demonstrated knowledge of decompression tables strongly desired.6. Ability to physically meet the working conditions required of the job. 7. Computer literate.

Kingston Hospital has an opening for a full time Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) to supervise patient care and chamber operations in our new state-of-the-art hyperbaric oxygen therapy facility which is part of the Kingston Hospital Wound Treatment Center.Qualifications: Candidates are required to have a minimum of one years experience working as a CHT in a hospital-based hyperbaric facility. Original baseline licensure as required by the NBDHMT must be current. Current BCLS is required, ACLS preferred. This position requires an experienced allied health-care professional who is able to demonstrate appropriate supervisory, assessment and patient monitoring skills, and all required clinical competencies.
