Responsible for administering policies and procedures according to established guidelines and is responsible for all issues related to personnel management including interviewing, recommending hires and disciplinary action. Serves as liaison for the MRI section of the Radiology Department, physicians, and other departments to accomplish patient care in a timely, professional, efficient and safe manner. Maintains approved concept of operation for maximum utilization of resources while delivering quality customer service. Identifies opportunities to improve patient safety and participates in projects and programs designed to reduce error and improve safety.Experience Requirements: MRI Technologist with minimum of three years experience as staff technologist, extensive experience in body imaging, previous management/supervisory experience preferred. Minimum of three years as staff technologists. Candidate must have extensive experience in body imaging. Prior supervisory/management experience is preferred.Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology Bachelors degree in healthcare or other related field of study, preferred.Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R, MRI), CPR certified Licensure/Certification Requirements :Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R, MRI), CPR certifiedHours of Work : 40Weekend Requirements : As NeededCall Requirements : As needed
