Is responsible for the Department in the absence of the Director. Is able to perform radiological diagnostic procedures. Operates diagnostic equipment, develops film and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Is able to provide care for his/her assigned patients. Radiography Instructor needed in Wisconsin

Will Teach radiography knowledge/skills within a well established AAS Radiography program using a variety of classroom, laboratory, and computer based delivery methods. Responsibilities include clinical coordination, curriculum development and evaluation, assessment and grading of student performance, academic advising, and other instructional support activities within the program, Health and Public Safety Division, and the College. Clinical coordinator responsibilities include student supervision, preparing clinical schedules, monitoring clinical agreements, evaluation of students and sites in accordance with accreditation standards of the program and college. Participate in strategic planning and other duties as assigned. Provide supervision with summer clinical activities on a rotating basis.Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required, with willingness to complete Masters degree within 3-5 years of hire. Preference given to candidates with Masters degree. Must have current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography. Minimum of 2 years full time occupational experience as a radiographer is required. Previous teaching experience preferred .Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Achieves departmental/ organizational objectives and improvement opportunities by providing quality diagnostic services. Oversees and adheres to Federal, State and JCAHO regulations. Maintain equipment servicing, staff licensing, and competencies. Assists the radiologists with reports as needed. Maintains staff scheduling for services offered per department procedures. Requirements: The ideal candidate will hold at minimum a bachelors degree, be a graduate of an accredited sonography program, possess a variety of clinical experiences in multiple sonography specialties, and hold a combination of RDMS, RVT, and/or RDCS registries from the ARDMS. MCPHSs DMS program will provide instruction in Abdominal, Vascular, Ob/Gyn, and Cardiac sonography specialties.
