Job Description: The School of Radiologic Sciences invites applications for the position of Director of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program. Reporting to the Dean of the School of Radiologic Sciences, the Director provides day-to-day management of program matters, including faculty hiring, evaluation, and development; curriculum development, coordination and assessment of courses; recommends budget actions; maintains current and establishes new clinical affiliation sites and agreements; teaches courses as assigned; establishes a personal program of scholarly activity, and performs service activities that advance the program and the profession, including assisting in the recruitment, orientation, and retention of students, other school and college service, and community and/or professional association service. Requirements: The ideal candidate will hold at minimum a bachelors degree, be a graduate of an accredited sonography program, possess a variety of clinical experiences in multiple sonography specialties, and hold a combination of RDMS, RVT, and/or RDCS registries from the ARDMS. MCPHSs DMS program will provide instruction in Abdominal, Vascular, Ob/Gyn, and Cardiac sonography specialties. Preferred qualifications include prior program director experience, and a masters or doctoral degree (if no graduate degree is held, a masters must be completed within four years).
