The Program of Research on Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT) at the University of Miami Center for Family Studies is a highly successful program with a 35 yr history of theory, research and practice development.

The successful candidate will be expected to continue the current program of BSFT research as well as develop her/his own strategic program of research on process, model development, efficacy, effectiveness and translational research on BSFT, its implementation and its up-scaling.The Center for Family Studies is the top minority family-based intervention research center in the nation, having attracted well over $100 million of NIH research.
