Occasional exposure to infectious materials and hazardous chemicals. Prolonged hours of sitting and microscope use. You will microscopically examines preparations for cytologic evaluation, correlating clinical information with morphologic findings to make a final diagnosis on negative gynecologic slides and render a microscopic assessment on abnormal gynecologic and all non-gynecologic specimens pending final diagnosis by a pathologist.We require: Bachelor´s Degree in Biological Sciences, CT(ASCP) certified or eligible required. Graduation from accredited school of cytotechnology, New York State Department of Health Cytotechnologist Registration Required. 0-2 years experience as a cytotechnologist. Excellent computer, verbal and written communication skills. Days: Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri 8-4pm; Wed 10-6pm; Sat on occasion. $$$1,500.00 sign on bonus for qualified candidates
