Job Title: Coordinator, Early Childhood Mental Health Work Site: Richmond Mental Health ServicesStatus: Regular Full Time Start Date: As Soon As Possible Salary: $32.61 - $40.68 per hourHours: 0800 -1700/0815-1715/0830-1730Reference#: 023602JOB SUMMARY:Within the context of a client and family centered care model and in accordance with established standards of professional practice, and vision and values of the organization, supervises team members and coordinates the day to day administrative activities of Early Childhood Mental Health Program that provides services for families with children 0-5 years to ensure that the services provide a high standard of quality care. Acts as a clinical resource for team members, promotes interdisciplinary collaboration, provides consultation services, coordinates work assignments and schedules staff, oversees contracts, coordinates requests for vacation and other leaves of absence, and ensures timekeeping records are maintained. Coordinates care for clients including developing and implementing treatment plans, and initiating and participating in case conferences; conducts comprehensive mental health and psychosocial assessments; and provides therapeutic services such as individual and group counseling, psychodynamic therapy for families, and psycho-education. Reports on various activities of the program, coordinates and participates in on-going team planning, development and quality improvement activities, provides input into proposals, budget policies and procedures, and maintains and updates own knowledge.QUALIFICATIONS:Masters degree in and Allied Health Discipline from a recognized program. Five (5) years recent related experience including three (3) years administrative/supervisory experience in a community mental health setting, or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.Valid BC Drivers License.
