The new center will provide 24-hour treatment for medically stable psychiatric patients. The patients will include individuals with both acute and chronic, complex psychiatric disorders, as well as short-term episodes of psychiatric illness, including but not limited to, acute psychosis, major mood disorders, schizophrenic spectrum illness, etc. The center will be licensed as a Psychiatric Health Facility with CMS certification.In addition, a six-bed Crisis Stabilization Unit will provide intervention, observation, triage, and treat/release services. Be part of the excitement of opening a new Behavioral Health Center that will provide the backdrop for you to do the best work of your career.Clinical Administrative Director, Behavioral Health CenterIn this role, you will serve as the director and role model for the entire clinical team of the Behavioral Health Center. Duties will include planning, organizing, directing, evaluating, and coordinating inpatient nursing services. Additionally, you will collaborate with hospital and medical group senior staff in the development and execution of strategic plans in order to provide quality care and manage cost-effective services which are in compliance with The Joint Commission, Department of Mental Health, Department of Health Services, and the LPS Mental Health Act including a special focus on protecting patient rights.Qualifications for this position include:- Doctors degree in psychology from an accredited university or professional school is strongly preferred.
