Creating Some Comic Relief

"It occurred to me that cartoons are a great vehicle with which to present health information to children and their parents," says Dr. Alfred Martin. So when he was working on an internet project that dealt with providing pediatric wellness information, old cartoons he had once thought to use to market his practice gained new life.

Thus began the Mighty MED Enterprises. Mighty MED and the Health Avengers battle bad guys such as the Allergy Aggravators, the Tobacco Terrorists, the Druggies, and Infecto's Gang.

And what does the future hold for Mighty MED and the Health Avengers? Martin and his group are currently working with school nurses to develop school programs and with pediatric hospitals to help develop medical programs. They have also just signed a contract with a major toy agent.
