In July, take part in the annual Midnight Sun Marathon, the only marathon in Nunavut, which draws runners from around the world! And you don't have to run if you don't want to; you can also hike and discover the spectacular surroundings of Arctic Bay and north Baffin Island. Or you can take a trip to Uluksan Point, a historical site that offers room for picnics and a chance to see the remains of old stone houses once inhabited by early settlers of the area. For more fun, take a boat tour on the north coast of Baffin Island. If you prefer not to use a boat, there's always a dog sled!
