Although a small community of 592 people, Bath plays a big role in our lives. Its rich potato fields are major suppliers for McCain French fries! Besides its important place in our fast-food culture, Bath is a charming community in the western New Brunswick county of Carleton, which is known for its Irish roots. During Bath's early history, it was an isolated place; the only way to travel in and out was by boat, via the St. John River. Today, Bath is thriving. Stately historic homes line its streets and the town is a constant hub of social activities such as family picnics and the annual Polar Dip in the river. The salmon fishing is excellent and there are plenty of attractions in the surrounding communities such as the village of Perth-Andover, which is home to the famous seafood dishes at the York Dining Room and a major cultural event called the Gathering of the Scots. Homes are affordable and beautiful scenery surrounds you. The quaint fishing towns of Maine are just across the border, and three major hiking trails are at your doorstep. Life in Bath is always a pleasure. See our 0 Jobs in Bath, New Brunswick Websites for this CityTourism:
