Black Diamond, Alberta

Black Diamond, which is located 52 kilometers (32 miles) south of Calgary, is both a bedroom community for the city and a service station for smaller outlying communities.

Black Diamond's surrounding landscape consists of grasslands, farms, and ranches, and the community is located along Alberta's famous Cowboy Trail. Rodeo culture prevails here. On historic Main Street, for example, classic Western facades pay homage to days gone by.
