Broadview is known as a "small town with large resources." This community of 669 lies 20 kilometers (12 miles) south of the scenic Qu'Appelle Valley in southeastern Saskatchewan. It was recognized as a village in 1898, and owes much of its early development to the expansion of the Canadian Pacific Railway in the region in the 1900s. Today, Broadview draws on agriculture and tourism to drive the local economy, and offers a full range of social and community services to its residents. Schooling is available from kindergarten through to high school, and the town has a skating and curling rink. Outdoor recreation is also readily available. Broadview's golf course is rated among the best in Saskatchewan, and nearby Ochapowace ski area, the largest in Saskatchewan, is also popular. And with the Qu'Appelle Valley a short drive away, there's always an opportunity to do some fishing or to go camping. See our 3 Jobs in Broadview, Saskatchewan Websites for this CityGovernment:
