And, if you're in the mood for a real treat, take in a glimpse of some of the country's superb wildlife, including gorillas, lions, hyenas, elephants, hippos, and more, all waiting for you at the Parc National des Virunga (Virunga National Park), a UNESCO World Heritage Site!

The beautiful handmade crafts will charm you. Many of these are made from copper, one of the country's most abundant natural resources. In addition, if you're an art lover, the Académie des Beaux-Arts (Academy of Fine Arts) in Kinshasa is home to many paintings and sculptures created by artists and students.
