Corona, California

Located about 13 miles (21 kilometers) southwest of Riverside and 45 miles (72 kilometers) southeast of Los Angeles, on the edge of Riverside County, is Corona, a thriving community of 124,966.

Tracing its lineage back over a century, Corona was once at the center of southern California's vast citrus farming district and home to the nation's first lemon processing plant. Today, citrus farming is no longer the backbone of Corona's economy; in its place, numerous other industries have taken root, including high-end food products, plastics, steel, truck bumpers, printed circuits, and musical instruments. Of particular note is Golden Cheese, one of the largest cheese makers in the US and Fender Musical Instruments Inc. (Corona is also home to its Fender Museum). Corona's economy is thriving!
