Located on the banks of the Fraser and Coquihalla Rivers, about 150 kilometers (93 miles) east of Vancouver, this community of 4,578 people is surrounded by the best nature has to offer: trees, mountains, and water. The climate is warm; summers are dry, and winters are mild.

Take a walking tour to see the amazing chainsaw sculptures, which you can find scattered throughout the town. Alternatively, go for a hike through the forest, and see the trees in their original states. Or go into town for a coffee or a down-home meal at the local restaurants.
