Lawrenceville, Georgia

The City of Lawrenceville is located in northern Georgia, 32 miles (51 kilometers) northeast of Atlanta. It is the county seat of Gwinnett County, and home to 22,397 residents.

Lawrenceville is home to a number of historic buildings and sites, many of which are located in the city's downtown. The c. 1885 Historic Courthouse has witnessed many chapters in the city's history, and now serves as the headquarters for the Gwinnett Historical Society. Nearby is the Gwinnett History Museum, which contains a collection of folk artifacts. The museum is housed in the 1838 Lawrenceville Female Seminary building, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
