Located on Nova Scotia's South Shore, this small town offers so much to do, it's a tourist's delight!

History buff? Revisit the 18th century during Liverpool's annual Privateer Days – celebrate the town's heritage with a boat race, walking tours through historic Liverpool, and an 18th-century-style wedding! Or you can visit the Queens County Museum or the Perkins House Museum (built as a house in the late 1700s), to learn more about Liverpool's history.

Fascinated by lighthouses? Liverpool is home to a number. You can jump on a boat to access the town's first lighthouse on Coffin Island in Liverpool Bay, or head to Fort Point Lighthouse Park, where you can climb up the lighthouse and learn about its history.

Enamored with nature? Liverpool is wonderfully scenic – take it all in while driving, hiking, or biking the West Queens Coastal Scenic Drive. While you're at it, be sure to stop and relax at one of the many beaches along the way – they're perfect for swimming and canoeing. Water lovers can also go surfing on the Atlantic, canoeing along the Mersey River, or kayaking at Port Joli, located just southwest of Liverpool.

Art aficionado? Visit Liverpool's many art galleries, including the ADJA Studio & Gallery. For artistic pursuits of a different vein, country music fans will find the Hank Snow Country Music Centre, which hosts the annual Father's Day Outdoor County Music Fest, a must-hear event.
