Pottstown is a borough of 21,859, located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, 20 miles (32 kilometers) southeast of Reading, 41 miles (66 kilometers) northwest of Philadelphia, and 49 miles (79 kilometers) northeast of Lancaster.

For arts lovers, the community is home to the Pottstown Symphony Orchestra, the Schuylkill Valley Regional Dance Company, and several theatrical companies. For history buffs, Valley Forge National Historical Park is less than a half-hour's drive southeast of town. For those who love the outdoors, the county has abundant parkland, as well as 34 miles (55 kilometers) of existing county trails with another 28 miles (45 kilometers) to be by 2007.
