The town of Quantico is located along the Potomac River in Prince William County, Virginia, 21 miles (34 kilometers) southeast of Manassas, 23 miles (37 kilometers) north of Fredericksburg, and 34 miles (55 kilometers) south of Washington, DC. It is most famous for being the site of Marine Corps Base Quantico and the FBI Academy. In addition to easy access to the amenities in DC and northern Virginia, Prince William County is home to the huge (mile-long!)
