Stamford, Connecticut

Stamford is a city in southwestern Connecticut, on the coast of Long Island Sound. It is located 38 miles (61 kilometers) northeast of New York City and 41 miles (66 kilometers) southwest of New Haven. Stamford is part of Fairfield County, and is home to 117,083 people.
