Warren, Michigan

The city of Warren is located in eastern Michigan, just 11 miles (18 kilometers) north of Detroit. It is part of Macomb County, and is home to 138,247 people.

The community was named after General Joseph Warren, and became incorporated as a city in 1957. Warren is home to a variety of businesses, including General Motors' Technical Center, the United States Army Tank Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM), and the headquarters of Big Boy Restaurants International.

Although it's the largest suburb in the Metro Detroit area, Warren offers a "small town lifestyle," along with a lively cultural scene. The Warren Fine Arts Center houses a fine collection of works in its gallery, and also offers classes and workshops for all ages.
