Originally from the west coast of Canada, Steve Sullivan describes himself as "sort of a peripatetic proctologist." Indeed, Sullivan has worked all over the world, including England, Saudi Arabia, Saipan, Australia, and Oman. Sullivan flexed his writing muscles while recording his time in Saudi Arabia (during the Gulf War, no less) through letters to family and friends back home (now collected in a personal journal, which he hopes to publish in the future). Sullivan has written for numerous medical publications including The Canadian Medical Association Journal. A former professor, Sullivan now does locums for the GI group in Victoria, BC.
