Postdoctoral Fellow - Molecular Mechanisms of DNA damage responses
Multiple NIH funded postdoctoral fellow positions are available immediately in the Molecular Radiation Oncology Program at the Methodist Hospital Research Institute (TMHRI), Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University. TMHRI is located in the world largest medical research center in the Texas Medical Center, Houston, TX. Candidates will participate in projects studying molecular mechanisms of DNA damage responses. Specific research areas include cell cycle checkpoints (2 positions), Mitosis and the spindle checkpoint (2 positions), MicroRNA (1 position), Systems biology (1 position). Candidates must hold a PhD degree in life sciences within 3 years along with evidence of first-author papers published in top journals. Training in the field of molecular biology and cancer genetics are required and training in genetic instability would be preferred.
