Are you focusing your energies on the right things, the things that matter the most in your life?

I am a novice nurse with one year of cumulative experience in medical, surgical wards across Canada and Australia through clinical placements for school and agency nursing work. I have returned to Canada since July 2009 and have applied to almost every hospital in the greater Toronto area of Ontario, with no results. My question is this: Why are hospitals posting jobs and saying they need nurses to apply and providing us links to apply, but not hiring?
