This is a full-time tenure track faculty position at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. The Associate Dean oversees broadly the curriculum, accreditation, and academic performance of the students and provides oversight for the Office of Admissions and Student Affairs. The individual will oversee the academic programs and ensure that they are consistent with the Colleges Strategic Plan and the national accreditation standards. These programs include the pre-doctoral, post-graduate, and residency educational programs. This position requires significant experience in curriculum design and implementation. Prior leadership experience is desirable and experience with an academic health sciences institution is preferable. Candidates must have either a DMD/DDS degree from an institution accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation or a PhD with significant experience in dental school curriculum.
