We had to become experts,
not only in traditional physician search, but also
in healthcare executive search (including physician
executives), contract managed (outsourcing) search,
and broad-based management consulting.
As
the market consolidated and integrated, so did we.
We learned that the needs of integrating systems
in managed care environments were becoming increasingly
complex. Effective staffing required us to become
competent consultants in compensation, governance,
and practice acquisitions, as well as in healthcare
recruiting. We continued to survey all of our clients
to learn how we could continuously improve the quality
of our services. In other words, our clients taught
us our business.
