St. Anthony Hospital has a 100-year history of serving
the communities of Eastern Oregon. The hospital is
dedicated to preserving human life, human dignity,
wholism and shared ministry. With a qualified, caring
staff of professionals, a vast array of inservice and
outreach programs, and a spectrum of state-of-the-art
equipment, St. Anthony can best be characterized as
the center for health care services in Eastern Oregon.
As it has for the past century, St. Anthony continues
to dedicate itself to providing quality health care
by responding to the needs of those it serves.
St.
Anthony's Hospital is part of the Catholic Health Initiatives,
which is a national nonprofit health organization with
headquarters in Denver. We are a faith-based system
that includes 77 hospitals; 40 long-term care, assisted-
and residential-living facilities; and two community
health-services organizations in 20 states. Together,
our facilities provided almost $480 million in community
benefit in the 2007 fiscal year, including services
for the poor, free clinics, education and research.
With approximately 68,000 employees and annual revenues
of $7.7 billion, our system ranks as the nation’s
second-largest Catholic health care system.
Catholic
Health Initiatives thrives on our vision of Catholic
health care as a vibrant ministry, ready to provide
compassionate care of the body, mind and spirit through
the 21st century and beyond.
