Living in the Area The Northwest:
A Quality Work and Life Environment
Overlake
employees have the opportunity to live and work
in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. The lifestyle
in this region is well known for being casual and
comfortable.
With an abundance of natural
resources—trees, mountains, lakes, rivers,
ocean—it's no wonder the Puget Sound is one
of America's most livable areas. There is so much
to see and do within just a few hours' drive:
•
To the north, the San Juan Islands and the international
allure of Canada beckons visitors. • To
the south, Mt. Rainier National Park and National
Volcanic Monument Mt. St. Helens attract tourists
from all over the world. • To the west,
the towering Olympic mountain range and the rugged
Washington coastline were made to be explored. •
To the east, the Cascade Mountain Range with its
many ski resorts and the inland empire beyond,
promises new discoveries at every turn.
Overlake is located in Bellevue, the fifth largest
city in Washington. It's a young city that has
grown in the past three decades from a small Seattle
suburb to a fast-paced, professional commerce center.
Sleek new buildings are constantly changing the
skyline and the city boasts nearly all of the attractions
of a larger city.
Bellevue is home to 117,000
residents, many of whom have close ties to Overlake.
This is where their children are born, where their
traumas are handled, and where their friends and
relatives are cared for. Overlake is an anchor
for the community, providing residents with the
security of excellent medical care, if and when
they need it. |
