Our Mission... Our mission is to provide
high quality, cost-efficient patient care through a
team approach utilizing the strengths of physicians,
hospital staff, nursing staff, and EMS personnel. Most
importantly, ESP believes that everyone performs best
when relationships are built on mutual trust. Open
and frequent communication is paramount in our positive
service environment.
Our Philosophy...
ESP’s vision is to be the most sought after emergency
physician group in the US by both physicians and hospitals.
ESP recognizes that their physicians drive the success
of the company. The company’s practice philosophy
is based on delivering high quality patient service
through a collaborative relationship with their hospital
clients and physicians.
ESP is a physician-owned,
democratic medical group practice. With partner hospitals
across the South Central US, it is one of the largest
regional Emergency Groups in Texas.
Our physicians
will tell you we foster strong, personal relationships
with every one of them. We offer mentoring, career
growth and Medical Director development. All of our
doctors receive equitable scheduling, paid malpractice
and tail insurance and are eligible for a 2-year partnership
track.
ESP physicians know that relationships
make the world go around. We know that there is a lot
riding on the synergy that will develop between the
physician and their administrator, peers and nursing
leadership. We depend upon our excellent doctors to
develop the collaborative relationships that allow
a typical ED to evolve into an exceptional one. ESP’s
physician compensation packages are among the industry’s
best.
With 20 years of experience in the business
of ED management, ESP understands how important
an effective, efficient and caring emergency department
is to the success of the entire hospital. For that
reason, ESP recruiters work to find the best Medical
Director and emergency physician fit for each ESP
client hospital. We think this personalized hands-on
approach is the exact formula for success in today’s
generic mega-group environment. That’s why
ESP physicians make it a point to become part of
the ED team and a resource to hospital leadership.
We provide all of our physicians with
paid malpractice and tail insurance, equitable
scheduling and a 2-year partnership track for full
time. Some of our contracts are employee status
with full benefits and some are independent contractor,
so we can help you determine the status and site
that’s right for you. And don’t forget,
there’s no state income tax in Texas!
The terms of each package are position specific,
so be sure to review all our opportunities to find
the position that’s just right for your career
path. ESP recruiters work hard to find the best
hospital ’fit’ for each of our ESP
physicians. Think you’ve got the stuff to
be an ESP physician? Partner with us! |

What
our Partners Have to Say About
Us... |

"After leaving residency in Pennsylvania to
work with ESP in Texas, I did not know how the
adjustment would be. The warm welcome from the
staff at the various emergency departments that
I work in and the support of the ESP organization
has made my transition from resident to attending
surprisingly easy. I have benefited from the
established relationships that ESP has developed
with their partner hospitals and the mentorship
from older physicians in the group." -- Bob
Harding, D.O., Interim Medical Director at Seton
Highland Lakes, Burnet TX "As a young
physician one of the biggest benefits in joining
ESP has been the outstanding Medical Directors.
My director has a wealth of knowledge and experience,
and has been a great mentor. More importantly
he goes out of his way to support me, both personally
and professionally." -- Brandon Lewis, D.O.,
Physician at St. Joseph Regional Healthcare
Center, Bryan currently deployed to Iraq
