Cedars-Sinai Health System

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is a fast-growing, tertiary hospital with a Level I Trauma Center. Our 950+ bed acute care, teaching facility is located in the heart of Los Angeles, adjacent to Beverly Hills. We are the largest non-profit hospital in the western United States, internationally renowned for providing the best patient care modern medicine has to offer.

Twice designated as a Magnet hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), we were the first in Southern California to receive this prestigious award. In National Research Corporation?s 2004 Health Care Market Guide© survey, we ranked first for best overall quality, best doctors, best nurses, most personalized care, best image and reputation, as well as best accommodations and amenities.

Six of Cedars-Sinai's specialties ranked among the nation's best in U.S. News & World Report's 2006 guide to the "America's Best Hospitals." Specifically, our Digestive Disorders, Heart and Heart Surgery, Gynecology, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Endocrinology and Kidney Disease specialties ranked among the top 50 hospitals in the nation.

We have provided health care for more than 100 years, and are now one of the most dynamic medical centers in the world. While other local hospitals are either closing or reducing in size, Cedars-Sinai is growing to meet the increasing demand for our high quality care. The new, state-of-the-art Saperstein Critical Care Tower features 120 Intensive Care beds and a unique 30-bed Universal Monitored Unit for medical/surgical patients.
