Cypress Health Region
 
With its approximately 1,600 staff, the Cypress Regional Health Authority is responsible for the planning, organization, delivery, and evaluation of a wide variety of facility-based and community-based programs and services within its boundaries. Services offered include: Acute Care, Home Care, Community and Population Health, Long Term Care, Mental Health, Addictions Services, and Support Services. Each area of service acts as a complementary component of the holistic care provided in the region.

Incentives

Saskatchewan Health is currently offering two grants for health workforce employees: a Relocation grant for $5,000 and a Northern/Rural/Hard-to-Recruit grant for up to $15,000. Funding is provided to health workforce employees who agree to provide a specified return-in-service commitment to work in the province. Community

Situated in the southwest corner of Saskatchewan, the Cypress Health Region encompasses a truly unique region of the province. At the western most end of the region are the Cypress Hills, an area known for its geological and ecological rarity. In the Northwest are the Great Sand Hills, which encompass a 1900 km2 area, one of the largest of its kind in Canada. At the eastern end of the region is Grasslands National Park, which serves to protect one of the country's only remaining areas of mixed prairie grassland. Finally, north of Swift Current is the Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park, which straddles the west end of Lake Diefenbaker and offers ample opportunity for boating and fishing. .
