Northern Lights Health Region

On April 1, 2003, Northern Lights Regional Health Services was merged with Northwestern Health Services Region to become Region 9 . Geographically located in the northern region of the province of Alberta, Canada, Region 9 's corporate office is situated in the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre in Fort McMurray and serves all of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo as well as the communities in the northwest part of the province, including High Level, Fort Vermilion, Rainbow Lake, La Crete and Paddle Prairie. Region 9 continues to deliver the high quality care that the 70,000+ residents of the region have come to expect.
