Pimakslirvik

The northern community of Chesterfield Inlet is located at the mouth of Chesterfield Inlet on Hudson Bay, in Nunavut Territory, approximately 80 kilometers (50 miles) north of Rankin Inlet (or Kangiqliniq). The community is also known as Igluligaarjuk, which means "Place With a Few Igloos."

Flights from major centers in the south (Winnipeg, Edmonton/Calgary, and Ottawa/Montreal) fly in to Rankin Inlet, and connector planes fly from Rankin Inlet to Chesterfield Inlet.
