The Saad Medical Centre ('SMC') will be a modern, tertiary care medical facility and teaching hospital located in Al-Khobar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The SMC campus consists of the Saad Al Sanea Centre and the Saad Clinic, both of which are currently in operation, the Saad Hospital and Saad Conference Center are nearing completion of construction at the same site. Together, all of these components will form a major, regional medical resource for the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Region. The SMC campus also includes the Saad National School for boys, both primary and secondary as well as residential facilities for nursing staff. The SMC has been designed and will be operated to the highest international standards as established by the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations ('JCAHO'). A requirement for the key medical staff is Western qualification and/or certification. All hospital equipment and systems will incorporate the latest technology enabling staff to provide the most recently established procedures.
